Blackhammer Farms is located five miles from the Iowa border on the edge of the hardwood forest.

The area is known as Bluff Country, where hardwood timber covered  valleys are 400 -500 feet deep and the ridge tops are covered in prime crops of Corn, Soybeans and Alfalfa

This is a fully managed property with Conservation reserve grasses, ponds, food plot and forest areas.
West woods and corn covered point runs 1/2 mile into the valley
There are four new soil and water retention ponds serrounded by clover and alfalfa
Native grasses such as Yellow Cone flower, blue long Stem, Indian grass are planted in prime Conservation reserve soil
Native Grasses in CRP fields, Yellow Cone flower, Blue Long stem, little blue stem and Indian grass
Deer trails across the new pond dam,  hardwood points and draws abound in Bluff Country.
